What happens at AGBT Precision Health
The gap between what genomics can do and what clinical medicine actually does is the subject of this meeting.
Sessions cover genomic medicine, clinical diagnostics, precision therapeutics, translational research, and the use of machine learning in healthcare. Speakers come from research institutions, health systems, diagnostics companies, and regulatory bodies.
The audience is deliberately mixed. Clinicians and researchers who would not normally attend the same meeting spend three days in the same room, which is the point.
