Guilherme Rosa

Guilherme Rosa is a Professor of Quantitative Genetics and Data Science in the Department of Animal and Dairy Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA. His research focuses on developing and applying statistical and machine learning tools to analyze livestock data, including data from beef and dairy cattle, swine, poultry, and other species. His work involves integrating and analyzing farm-level operational data to optimize management practices, as well as utilizing digital tools for real-time monitoring of individual animals, animal identification and tracking, and disease surveillance. Additionally, he advances high-throughput phenotyping techniques to support research in quantitative genetics, genomics, and breeding.
