The GENERAL MEETING
Advances in Genome Biology and Technology (AGBT) is considered the preeminent genome science and technology conference where top global researchers, leaders and innovators meet to announce new discoveries, cutting edge breakthroughs and to collaborate. As a recognized cornerstone for the genomics research community, AGBT provides an outstanding forum for exchanging information about the latest advances in DNA sequencing technologies, experimental and analytical approaches for genomic studies, and their myriad applications. The meeting format includes daytime plenary sessions that feature invited speakers and abstract-selected talks that highlight cutting-edge research across the broad landscape of genomics. The evening concurrent session includes experimental and computational approaches for effectively utilizing the latest DNA sequencing technologies.
The PRECISION HEALTH MEETING
Based on the remarkable success of the original technology-focused AGBT meeting – and with an eye towards facilitating the emergence of a new era of precision medicine – The Genome Partnership launched AGBT-Precision Health , a new conference that debuted in September of 2016, in Scottsdale, Arizona. This new meeting brought together leading genomic researchers, healthcare professionals, and healthcare industry stakeholders to rigorously explore exciting developments at the interface of genomics, medicine, and health. We aim to enable the passing of the torch from pioneering researchers and developers of genome technologies to first movers in healthcare who are establishing cutting edge standard of care applications of genome technology in every day clinical practice.
THE GENOME PARTNERSHIP
The Genome Partnership has been proudly organizing The Advances in Genome Biology and Technology (AGBT) meetings since 1999. The Genome Partnership is a not-for-profit organization and its mission is to advance research, promote education, and expand commerce in genome science and technology.
