Molly Jahns

Molly Jahn is currently a Professor at University of Wisconsin and a Senior Advisor to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Critical Technologies where she leads a Department-wide called, ‘Assured Provisioning,’ the S&T inject for a new paradigm of military sustainment focused on distributed, scalable production of vital supplies including food. She has previously served as a Program Manager at DARPA in the Defense Sciences Office, Acting/Deputy Under Secretary of Ag for Research and Engineering, Dean of the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences at UW Madison, and is a Trustee at CIMMYT. Her vegetable varieties include market leaders and varieties grown for subsistence around the world.
