
Abstracts must be received via email by October 28, 2011. The abstract can be sent either in the body of the email or as an attached Microsoft Word document. Please include the email address of the presenting author. Photocopies or facsimiles will not be accepted. Submissions should be addressed to papers@agbt.org.
* With appropriate approval, abstracts discussing late-breaking scientific discoveries will be accepted as late as December 31, 2011.
Once we have received your abstract, we will send you a confirmation via email. If you do not receive an email confirmation within 1 week of submitting your abstract, please call G Corp at (877) 343-8895 or email papers@agbt.org.
Please note that we have moved meeting registration to start after the abstract submission deadline. In the event the meeting is sold out, those on the waiting list whose abstracts have been selected for presentation will be able to register (subject to vendor registration limits).
Rules and Instructions for Abstract Submission
a. The total length should not exceed 300 words
b. Titles should be written in both upper and lower case.
c. The presenting author should be listed first, followed by co-authors.
d. Affiliations (organization, city, state/country) should be provided
for all authors.
If multiple institutions are represented, please assign each organization
a number, and list each person followed by the number of the affiliation
and then list the number of the affiliation by name.
Review Process
Abstracts will be peer-reviewed. All submissions will be considered
eligible for oral or poster presentation.
Notification
Notification regarding acceptance of abstracts will be sent by January 10, 2012. If you have not received notification by January 16, 2012, call G Corp. at (877) 343-8895 or e-mail papers@agbt.org.
Publication in Program Book
Abstracts selected for oral or poster presentation at the Annual
Meeting of Advances in Genome Biology and Technology will be published
in the AGBT Program Book at the discretion of the Program Committee.
