Submission of an abstract requires pre-registration. If you register electonically, a confirmation number will be provided at the completion of the registration form. If you register via fax/mail, a confirmation number will be sent to you by e-mail. This confirmation number must be included in your abstract submission.

Abstracts must be received as an attached document in Microsoft Word format by November 14, 2008. Alternatively, the text can be forwarded in the body of an e-mail if Microsoft Word is not available. Photocopies or facsimile will not be accepted. Submissions should be addressed to papers@agbt.org.

* With appropriate approval, abstracts discussing late-breaking scientific discoveries will be accepted as late as December 31, 2008.

Once we have received your abstract, we will send you a confirmation via email. If you do not receive an email confirmation within 1 week of submitting your abstract, please contact Rita Dunton at 877-343-8895 or ritad@gcorp.org.

Rules and Instructions for Abstract Submission

    a. The total length should not exceed 300 words
    b. Titles should be written in both upper and lower case.
    c. Authors should be listed as lead/presenting author followed by co-authors.
    d. Affiliations (organization, city, state/country) should be provided for all authors.
    If multiple institutions are represented, please assign each organization a number, and list each person followed by the number of the affiliation and then list the number of the affiliation by name.

Review Process

Abstracts will be peer-reviewed. All submissions will be considered eligible for oral or poster presentation.

Notification

Notification regarding acceptance of abstracts will be sent by January 7, 2009. If you have not received notification by January 14, 2009, call G Corp. at (877) 343-8895 or e-mail papers@agbt.org.

Publication in Program Book

Abstracts selected for oral or poster presentation at the Annual Meeting of Advances in Genome Biology and Technology will be published in the AGBT Program Book at the discretion of the Program Committee.
